What Is Contrast Therapy?
You start in the sauna. 20 minutes at 180 degrees raises your core temperature, loosens your muscles, and opens every pore. Then you step into the cold plunge. 3 to 5 minutes at 50 degrees resets your nervous system and floods your body with dopamine and norepinephrine. You walk out feeling like a different person.
